Fresh leaks and regulatory filings from China have uncovered new information on Xiaomi's upcoming Pad 9 Pro and Pad 8S Pro tablets ahead of their expected launch in the domestic market. The updates focus on charging speeds for both models, while a shared image helps confirm the branding along with key hardware features of the Pad 8S Pro. These developments indicate Xiaomi plans to grow its premium tablet range before rolling out the next Pad 9 series later this year.

Chinese social media user Little White Pro reported that Xiaomi models 2612CRPFFC and M367FC have passed registration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The filings show 67W fast charging support for the 2612CRPFFC unit and as much as 120W charging for the M367FC model. Separately, Android Treasure published an image reportedly from the Pad 8S Pro settings screen. The display lists the tablet as Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro 12.5 with a 12.5-inch screen, 16GB RAM and a 12,000mAh battery. It also hints at Xiaomi's own Xring O3 processor inside.
