Vivo has introduced the T5 Lite 5G in India as the newest member of its budget T series. The smartphone reaches stores next week across two colour finishes and three RAM plus storage variants. An octa core MediaTek Dimensity 6000 series chipset drives the device together with up to 6GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. A 50 megapixel rear camera is included while a 6500mAh battery supports 44W wired fast charging. The phone features a 6.74 inch LCD display.

Entry pricing starts at Rs. 19999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version is listed at Rs. 21999 while the top 6GB RAM and 256GB storage option costs Rs. 24999. An instant Rs. 1500 discount applies with HDFC Bank Axis Bank and SBI cards along with a three month no cost EMI plan.

Sales begin on July 22 through Flipkart and the Vivo website. The handset comes in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue finishes.

The dual SIM phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Its 6.74 inch HD+ LCD panel offers 720 x 1600 pixel resolution a 120Hz refresh rate 260 ppi density up to 1200 nits peak brightness and 83 percent NTSC colour coverage. The device carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Power comes from an octa core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process with six efficiency cores at 2.0GHz and two performance cores reaching 2.4GHz. Storage includes up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 memory expandable by up to 2TB via microSD.

The rear camera system pairs a 50 megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and Sony IMX852 module alongside a 0.08 megapixel secondary lens at f/3.0. A 5 megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture handles selfies and video calls.

The 6500mAh battery supports 44W wired fast charging. Connectivity covers 5G 4G LTE dual band Wi Fi Bluetooth 5.4 USB Type C and GPS. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer ambient light sensor proximity sensor e compass and gyroscope. The phone measures 167.4 x 77.1 x 8.39mm and weighs 209g.
