It evokes a 2000s first-person RPG or immersive sim with grimy, angular spaces, oddly proportioned character faces, and a haunting soundtrack. Arrival by train leads to an immediate meeting with a fallen mentor tied to political trouble. Players express interest in Circus X, then pick from distinct routes such as city council work, sandwich crafting, or band membership.

Circus X emerges as a hidden arts group shaping politics and food chains, like a mix of the Factory and secret societies. Membership pursuit pulls players into an election featuring a tainted tech figure, an ex-boy-band member, and a cloned former mayor. Schemes center on a living Big Mouth Billy Bass, with the enigmatic Diamond Hand lurking unexplained.

The tale draws real-world echoes yet builds a vivid, independent setting. A firm floods the city with clones that replace artists with safe copies of past works. The game extends this to show clones as aware beings limited in creativity and freedom, while humans ponder nostalgia and taste.

Combined, it forms a gritty sci-fi tale mixing subway performances, library hunts, political canvassing, lettuce picking, jazz debates, and laundry amid constant dice tension. The result proves hard to resist.

Many main quests hit blocks since this Early Access version covers only the first two of six chapters, with more due this summer and full release in spring 2027. Even now it feels packed and intriguing, serving odd setups and dry wit evenly. Pizza spots make customers bake their own, so complaints fall on the buyer. Experience comes from hearing backstories, blending a joke on RPG dumps with smart design, and dialogue rewards without needing the points.

Beyond dystopian notes, the world feels hopeful in how art holds real weight. Diamond Hand remains unfinished yet offers a path to fixate on mastery while chasing the ultimate sandwich through perfect rolls.
