With about six weeks remaining until Labor Day, I chose to seize control and let an AI assistant build the full remaining schedule instead of allowing procrastination to win again. Below is the complete calendar it produced along with my plan for using it.

The limited span of summer is what gives it extra value. Longer days and warm nights will not continue, so there is little time left to enjoy barbecues, dancing, and carefree moments near water.

I asked Claude AI to build a summer plan that would use every hour well, including a daily routine meant to improve both physical and mental health.

Claude produced an interactive calendar with exact dates and times for tracking summer progress and social plans, complete with concert, beach, and restaurant suggestions.

For fitness targets it added weekly runs, bike rides, HIIT workouts, hikes, and weight sessions along with enjoyable summer events such as beach days, taco gatherings, bar visits, and museum trips. It also set aside dedicated blocks for reading.

Summer reading hacks

Summer reading can be a relaxing pastime or a tedious task. Tools like ChatGPT can create schedules that turn learning goals into something manageable and even pleasant.

I used ChatGPT to convert a summer reading list from a Los Angeles high school into a workable timetable that allowed enough time for every book along with appealing locations for reading them.

Be aware that ChatGPT offered a printable summer reading map of Los Angeles, yet the result was not something worth displaying. When I noted the poor quality, it supplied a second, even less appealing version along with a promotion for printing services.

Claude AI handled the request well and delivered an interactive map with specific places and dates plus detailed notes explaining why each location would improve the reading experience for each text.

Song of the summer

It remains unclear whether any new well-crafted summer anthems will arrive this year. AI music tools such as Suno, described as a web-based generative audio workstation that blends traditional production features with AI music creation, can produce songs from any prompt.

I tried Suno to create a summer anthem that included my name and my spouse's name in the lyrics, but the output was comically poor.

The tool claims it can generate lyrics from prompts, yet when I asked it to include the names Rachel and Robert the song began by repeating the prompt itself and continued with roughly two minutes of nonsense.

It did have a pleasant beat, though.
