Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 during its July showcase, alongside its latest foldable smartphones. Fresh leaks shared by @GalaxyTechie on X, as reported via 9to5Google, offer a better view of what to expect.

Enthusiasts hoping for a new Classic model featuring the rotating bezel may face letdown, while buyers interested in the standard or Ultra editions might find pleasant changes.

According to the post on X, the Galaxy Watch 9 series may skip the Classic version altogether. This reverses a previous suggestion from May indicating it was planned. The absence is notable, as the rotating bezel has gained significant popularity in recent models.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is set to have a more distinct appearance compared to the first version. It may include a boxier design, reduced bezel thickness, and a more understated side button that replaces the full orange color with just an orange border.

Expectations include a bigger battery and the new Snapdragon Wear Elite processor. These changes together could extend battery life past the two-day threshold.

The source also provided images showing an updated Health application and what looks like a new interface for selecting watch faces, refreshing the internal experience to align with exterior redesigns.

Color options

Additional colors have surfaced in leaks, though it remains uncertain if these apply to the Galaxy Watch 9, the Ultra 2, or both models.

The colors mentioned are Black, Silver, and Beige. Beige is not completely novel for Samsung, since the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 6 offered cream and beige variants.
