Oppo Reno 16F 5G Gains GCF Approval Before Reno 16 Lineup Launch

Tipster XpertPick found the Oppo Reno 16F 5G, model CPH2859, listed in the Global Certification Forum (GCF) database. This approval confirms the phone's readiness for network standards in global markets.

This same model earlier appeared on Thailand's NBTC and the UAE's TDRA sites, confirming its identity as the Reno 16F 5G. It also passed TÜV testing, highlighting 80W wired fast charging capability.

Prior details from China's NBD Import and Export database point to a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant for the Oppo Reno 16F 5G.

Reports note another Oppo model, CPH2865, on GCF and Singapore's IMDA databases, plus NBD. Experts believe this is the base Oppo Reno 16, possibly with a 6.587-inch screen, 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

The Oppo Reno 16 Pro (CPH2863) has similarly appeared on NBTC, TDRA, and NBD, hinting at a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage edition.

Leaks suggest China's Reno 16 series will feature Reno 16c, Reno 16, and Reno 16 Pro models. The Reno 16 may use a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip, while the Pro could sport a 6.78-inch display and MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. Expect emphasis on better performance with cameras akin to Reno 15 devices.
