At the Snapdragon Gaming Technology Awards held earlier this week, OnePlus announced the upcoming debut of its new flagship device, the OnePlus 16, in China. The firm also shared hints about possible new features on the device. Although an official launch date stays unknown, fresh leaks have now disclosed expected pricing along with the model configurations. Reports indicate the OnePlus 16 will offer four RAM and storage choices.

OnePlus 16 Expected Pricing and Storage Options

Information shared by X user @OnePlusClub suggests the OnePlus 16 will restore the 8GB RAM base model, absent from the brand flagship series since the OnePlus 11 launch in 2023.

The entry price for the device is expected to begin at CNY 4,999 (about Rs. 71,000) for the 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage version. The 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage model may carry a price of CNY 5,499 (about Rs. 77,600), while the 12GB RAM plus 512GB storage option could reach CNY 5,999 (about Rs. 84,700).

A limited edition model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is also said to be in the works, priced at CNY 7,499 (about Rs. 1.05 lakh). The same leak indicates OnePlus may skip any 24GB RAM version of the device this year.

In comparison, the OnePlus 15 debuted in China during October 2025 starting at CNY 3,999 (about Rs. 56,000) for its base 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage model. Other variants with 16GB RAM plus 256GB storage, 12GB RAM plus 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM plus 512GB storage launched at CNY 4,299 (about Rs. 60,700), CNY 4,599 (about Rs. 65,000), and CNY 4,899 (about Rs. 69,000) respectively.

In India the OnePlus 15 launched at Rs. 72,999 for the 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage model and Rs. 79,999 for the 16GB RAM plus 512GB storage model. Recent price adjustments have raised those figures to Rs. 85,999 and Rs. 93,999.

During the Snapdragon Gaming Technology Awards 2026, OnePlus China General Manager Liu Baoyou confirmed the OnePlus 16 will arrive in the second half of the year featuring three exclusive gaming technologies. Additional details are likely to emerge as the launch date approaches.
