Nothing has begun hinting at the arrival of a fresh ‘B' series gadget. The firm led by Carl Pei appeared to verify on Monday that the initial product in this new range is the Nothing Phone 4b. Additionally, an executive from Nothing shared further insights on the placement of the forthcoming ‘B' series and affirmed that the lineup will uphold the company's distinctive design approach. In other news, the precise release date for the impending Nothing Phone 4b emerged online right after the firm previewed the back design of the device. Reports indicate the Phone 4b will arrive at the start of next month.

UPDATE: On Tuesday, Nothing verified that its latest budget smartphone, the Nothing Phone 4b, is scheduled for release in India on July 7 at 3:30 pm IST. The firm has hinted that the device will include a pill-shaped rear camera setup along with an LED flash. The Phone 4b might also feature a horizontal Glyph Bar on its rear, akin to that on the Nothing Phone 4a.

Nothing's ‘b' Series Will Replace the ‘a' Lineup as the Firm's New Entry-Level Offering

On Monday, Nothing India Co-Founder and President, Akis Evangelidis, disclosed in an X post that the new ‘B' series will sit beneath the current ‘A' series models. The company leader noted, “The B Series builds on the success of the A Series by expanding into a new segment, while maintaining a clear product hierarchy.”

Further clarifying the firm's naming approach, Evangelidis explained that the numbers denote the generation, while the letters indicate the product tier. He said, “This avoids overusing suffixes and provides a clearer naming structure as the portfolio expands.”

This follows the company's recent teasers for a new ‘B' series device, later suggesting the upcoming model is the Nothing Phone 4b. While details remain limited, the handset is confirmed to launch in the country through Flipkart. It appears with a single rear camera setup and the brand's transparent back panel that reveals screws and components. The device also shows a flat rear and rounded edges, much like the higher-end Phone 4a series.

Separately, tipster Noah Cat (@Cartidise) shared a screenshot indicating the Nothing Phone 4b will launch in India on July 7. The source claims the new smartphone will come in at least two RAM and storage variants. Moreover, the Nothing Phone 4b is expected to be priced Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 5,000 below the higher-end Nothing Phone 4a.
