Lenovo plans to launch early Googlebook models later this year, and fresh leaked photos now offer a clear preview of their designs. Images shared by Digital Citizen and Android Headlines display a laptop alongside a 2-in-1 tablet, each carrying Googlebook branding on the keyboard deck.

This marks the strongest view yet of Google Chromebook successor since the Android-based Googlebook effort was unveiled in May. Specifics stay limited, yet Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo are set to deliver first units in Fall 2026. Googlebooks will swap ChromeOS for a new platform while Gemini AI integrates across nearly all features.

The Lenovo leaks closely echo current Chromebook styles with notable additions. The laptop model appears in two sizes and includes a rear light strip matching the glowing bar from official Googlebook renders released earlier. The 2-in-1 tablet adds a light bar on the rear camera housing, similar to the orb expected on the Pixel 11 series.

Keyboards add a new bottom-row key showing Google G branding. Digital Citizen notes this serves as a dedicated Gemini hardware button, yet the boards also retain a Quick Insert key in the caps lock spot, a feature Chromebooks added for Gemini access in 2024.
