Lava has rolled out the Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G smartphones in India as the newest budget options from domestic maker Lava International. The fresh devices arrive in two color choices and include 6.75-inch screens. They carry an AI-supported dual-camera setup on the back led by a 13-megapixel main sensor. The 5G edition includes a 6000mAh battery while the 4G model of the Virat V1 ships with a 5000mAh cell. Availability starts next week across India.

The Lava Virat V1 5G carries a price tag of Rs. 12999. During an opening promotion the firm will offer the handset at Rs. 11999. The Lava Virat V1 meanwhile is listed at Rs. 9999 and will be available at a launch discount of Rs. 8999.

The pair will reach stores via Flipkart and the Lava site from July 31 at 12pm IST. The special launch pricing applies only on the opening day of sales. The Lava Virat V1 5G comes in Arya Blue and Sonar Gold tones while the Lava Virat V1 4G appears in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver finishes.

The company stated it will deliver doorstep after-sales support for the Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1.

The new Lava Virat V1 5G operates on Android 16 while the Lava Virat V1 4G edition runs Android 15. Both models include a 6.75-inch HD+ panel.

The 5G version of the Lava Virat V1 uses a Unisoc T8200 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Virtual RAM can add another 4GB and storage expands up to 1TB.

The Lava Virat V1 relies on a Unisoc SC9863A processor. It also offers 4GB RAM with 4GB virtual RAM support plus 64GB internal storage.

On the camera side the Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1 feature an AI-backed dual rear camera setup led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor. Both include a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and calls. They carry an IP64 rating for dust and water protection.

The Lava Virat V1 5G holds a 6000mAh battery while the Lava Virat V1 4G variant uses a 5000mAh battery.
