Although iQOO has not confirmed these plans, a reliable source has shared details on the processor likely to power the device. It is expected to run on Qualcomm's upcoming flagship chipset. iQOO 16T Specifications (Expected)

A Weibo post from tipster Digital Chat Station, translated from Chinese, reveals that the iQOO 16T is under testing with Qualcomm's SM8950 chipset. This identifier matches the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, anticipated as Qualcomm's next flagship SoC later this year. The source also noted that iQOO is assessing a variant with MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9600 chip, leaving the final processor undecided.

For the screen, the iQOO 16T may use a flat Samsung panel offering 2K resolution. The phone is further expected to include a built-in cooling fan for better thermal control.

Details on the iQOO 16T remain limited, yet reports suggest the iQOO 16 series could launch in September. Earlier leaks point to a 6.85-inch flat LTPO OLED display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also said to feature a battery over 7,000mAh along with 100W wired fast charging.
