Fresh reports indicate the firm is developing a model pairing a battery larger than 10,000mAh with a screen capable of reaching 10,000 nits peak brightness. Should the claims hold, this device would exceed the brightness levels of many current flagship phones and align with a trend among certain Chinese brands toward oversized power cells. Honor has not yet verified the handset or shared any release details.

Leak Suggests Huge Battery Paired with Top Brightness

A Weibo message from tipster Digital Chat Station, translated from Chinese, states that an upcoming Honor phone will include a battery over 10,000mAh. The same source added that the display may hit a peak brightness of 10,000 nits.

The report omitted the model name and offered no information on chipset, camera setup, charging rates, or release schedule. Still, the pairing of such a large battery with extreme brightness would position the phone among the most boldly equipped devices in these areas.

The brightness claim warrants careful consideration. Although a 10,000-nit rating stands out, such peak figures typically reflect maximum output in limited zones under controlled tests and may not represent typical daily use.

This news follows Honor recent focus on phones with very large batteries. In December 2025 the Honor Win and Honor Win RT launched in China featuring 10,000mAh cells and 6,000 nits peak brightness. Earlier this month the company released the Honor Win Turbo version locally with a 10,000mAh battery and up to 8,000 nits.

The Honor Power 2 also offers 8,000 nits peak brightness alongside a 10,080mAh battery. The newest leak hints that Honor could extend these specs further. More information on the device is likely to surface ahead of any official reveal.
