Google has long been rumored to enter the Bluetooth tracker space. According to recent reports, the company could finally unveil its first device, widely referred to as the Pixel Tag, during the Made by Google event set for next week. Ahead of the expected launch, European pricing and availability details have surfaced. The device is anticipated to rival Apple's AirTag and may carry a comparable price point.

Google Pixel Tag Price, Launch Timeline (Expected)

A report from the French outlet Dealabs indicates the Google Pixel Tag will carry a price of EUR 34.90 (roughly Rs. 3,800) in Europe. By comparison, Apple's AirTag costs EUR 35 (roughly Rs. 3,800) for one unit, with a four-pack listed at EUR 119 (roughly Rs. 13,000).

This positions the rumored Pixel Tag in a similar pricing range to Apple's tracker. Details for other regions remain unknown, though the report suggests a possible US launch price of $29 (roughly Rs. 3,200), matching the AirTag's American cost.

The Pixel Tag is slated for announcement at the Made by Google event on August 12. It could appear alongside the Pixel 11 series, expected to include the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The Pixel Watch 5 is also rumored for the same showcase.

The report does not specify when the tracker will reach stores after its debut.

Earlier coverage suggests the Pixel Tag will feature a round, puck-style design common among Bluetooth trackers. It may include a built-in speaker under a grille on the underside, allowing users to find lost items through sound alerts via Google's Find My Device network.

The device is reportedly known internally by the model number GA12506, linked to a color option called Fog Light. It is positioned as Google's first dedicated Bluetooth tracker aimed at Android users.
