Google Photos introduced an easy sticker maker on iOS last year before bringing the tool to Android in February. The option allows quick sticker creation via a long press on any photo making it simple to share personalized images with contacts. The newest improvement adds a permanent folder that saves every sticker automatically for easy access later.

Accessing the Stickers Folder

The folder sits inside the Collections tab just below the Places map according to reports. Stickers appear in a grid ordered from newest to oldest so recent creations stay visible at the top.

Opening any sticker displays a panel with choices to copy it for sharing through the standard share options or to remove it from the collection.

Matching iOS Capabilities

Android users often receive Google Photos updates ahead of others yet sticker tools arrived later on this platform. Creation launched on iPhone devices in August 2025 while the folder followed in January.

The update is included in Google Photos version 7.78. If the folder does not appear immediately ensure the app is updated and watch for an on screen message noting that stickers are saved automatically inside Collections.

Keeping all stickers together removes a minor inconvenience and completes feature parity between the Android and iOS versions of the app.
