Samsung plans to expand its Galaxy S27 range by introducing the new Galaxy S27 Pro model next year. Positioned as a premium device, it should incorporate rear camera elements drawn from the leading Galaxy S27 Ultra. Fresh details now point to battery size and screen measurements. The Galaxy S27 Pro may arrive with a reduced display and without S Pen functionality.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro Specifications (Expected)

A recent X post from Kro (@kro_itnyang) indicates the Galaxy S27 Pro will carry a 5,000mAh cell. If correct, this Pro model would hold a smaller battery than the Galaxy S27 Ultra, which is said to use a silicon-carbon unit rated between 5,500mAh and 6,000mAh. The capacity would also equal that found on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Reports further suggest the Pro variant will omit S Pen support.

Additional reports point to a 6.5-inch screen on the Galaxy S27 Pro. This size would position the device as noticeably more compact than the Galaxy S26+ at 6.7 inches or the Galaxy S26 Ultra at 6.9 inches. The panel would still exceed the 6.3-inch display on the standard Galaxy S26.

Information on other hardware aspects stays limited for now. Given its compact build, Samsung may slot the Galaxy S27 Pro between the Galaxy S27+ and Galaxy S27 Ultra. It could share rear camera hardware with the Ultra, potentially including a 200-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel All Lenses on Prism (ALoP) module.
