Recent coverage from MP1st indicates that an unannounced second multiplayer Witcher project is underway inside CD Projekt Red. The title is positioned as a free-to-play co-op action-RPG for PC and mobile devices, although any potential console release remains unspecified at this stage.

This free-to-play project exists independently from the earlier multiplayer spinoff codenamed Project Sirius, which was unveiled in 2022 together with Polaris and Canis Majoris, now identified as The Witcher 4 and the remake. Project Sirius continues under The Molasses Flood with assistance from CD Projekt Red.

The same report supplied additional context around narrative setting and core mechanics. The game is placed in the year 1230 during Geralt's youth, yet participants will generate original characters complete with selectable gender, appearance, and attributes.

CD Projekt Red balances several initiatives at present, with primary attention directed toward The Witcher 4.
