Bitcoin hovered near Rs. 77.7 lakh on Friday as the cryptocurrency market sought to rebound from a sharp sell-off. Easing Treasury yields offered modest relief even as inflation worries lingered and institutional demand stayed cautious. Ethereum traded close to Rs. 2.3 lakh while leading altcoins posted gains in the past hour. Market observers noted that although Bitcoin had climbed after dipping briefly under $80,000, outflows from ETFs and uncertainty around the Federal Reserve's upcoming decision continued to influence sentiment. CoinGecko figures showed Bitcoin at $82,100 (roughly Rs. 77.9 lakh) and Ethereum at $2,445 (roughly Rs. 2.31 lakh).

The largest cryptocurrency advanced 2.6 percent over the prior 24 hours per the Gadgets 360 tracker. Analysts highlighted nearly $950 million (roughly Rs. 901 crore) in leveraged liquidations alongside more than $261 million (roughly Rs. 248 crore) in spot Bitcoin ETF outflows. A drop in the 10-year Treasury yield from 5.36 percent to 5.1 percent helped underpin the recovery.

Major Altcoins Move Higher With Bitcoin on Friday

Binance Coin stood around $730 (roughly Rs. 69,300) while Solana traded near $106 (roughly Rs. 10,000). XRP remained close to $1.34 (roughly Rs. 127) and Dogecoin hovered near $0.082 (roughly Rs. 7.5).

Yield Decline Supports Market After Large Liquidations

Prateek Gupta, Head of Business at Mudrex, pointed to the rebound and institutional activity: "The decline followed US producer prices rising 6.3 percent year-on-year, against forecasts of 5.3 percent, intensifying inflation worries after the CPI release. Leveraged liquidations approached $950 million (roughly Rs. 901 crore), while spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded over $261 million (roughly Rs. 248 crore) in outflows. A pullback in the 10-year Treasury yield to 5.1 percent from 5.36 percent supported the rebound. Meanwhile, wallets holding 10-10,000 BTC hit a record 20,338, pointing to stronger whale participation."

The CoinSwitch Markets Desk added that September US inflation reached 3.7 percent and core CPI hit 2.6 percent, yet recent Fed comments have tempered immediate rate-hike expectations and pushed the 10-year Treasury yield toward 5.08 percent. Institutional caution persists with $261.4 million (roughly Rs. 248 crore) in net ETF outflows on October 14. With the Fed's late-October meeting approaching, rate expectations, ETF flows, and overall risk appetite will shape Bitcoin's near-term path.

Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Giottus.com, observed that Bitcoin faces pressure after hotter-than-expected US inflation revived tightening concerns at the Federal Reserve. Investors should avoid chasing rebounds amid macro volatility, instead using staggered entries, measured position sizes, and close monitoring of ETF flows and Fed signals.

Analysts noted that Bitcoin's rebound draws support from lower Treasury yields and rising accumulation by large holders, yet ongoing inflation and shifting ETF flows keep the outlook uncertain. The $80,000 level (roughly Rs. 75.87 lakh) remains a key support while a push toward $83,000-$84,000 (roughly Rs. 78.72 lakh-Rs. 79.67 lakh) could signal building momentum.
