The PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue for July has been revealed. Ubisoft's open-world adventure Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora tops the list this month. Drawing from James Cameron's movie series, the title invites players to roam freely across the lush environments of the made-up planet Pandora.

July's extensive catalogue also features the action-RPG Rise of the Ronin, the simulation experience Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, the 2D fighter Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, the survival horror classic Dying Light, and the sci-fi RPG Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. All titles will be accessible starting July 21, though some releases roll out on staggered dates across the US, UK, and Japan.

Sony confirmed two additions for the Classics Catalogue aimed at Premium and Deluxe members: Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy. The July Game Catalogue selections are detailed below.

PS Plus Game Catalogue Titles for July

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora reached Xbox Game Pass earlier this year and now lands on PS Plus. Players assume the role of a Na'vi captured by the RDA corporation seeking valuable materials on Pandora. The story unfolds on the planet's western frontier ahead of the original film's events.

Offering both first-person and third-person views, the open-world title spans three varied biomes. It becomes playable for Extra and Premium or Deluxe subscribers on PS5.

Team Ninja's Rise of the Ronin enters the catalogue as well. This 2024 open-world action-RPG unfolds across Feudal Japan locations including Yokohama, Kyoto, and Edo while depicting clashes between the Tokugawa shogunate and rival groups.

Combat centers on precise parries with multiple weapon options, while movement relies on a grappling hook and glider. Originally a PS5 exclusive, the game later arrived on PC.

Dying Light, the 2015 survival horror favorite, also joins the service. Set in the city of Harran amid a viral outbreak that sparks a zombie crisis, the story follows undercover agent Kyle Crane on a recovery assignment.

A day-night cycle alters gameplay dramatically, and parkour movement lets players navigate rooftops throughout the urban landscape. The game supports PS4 and runs on PS5 through backwards compatibility.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, the follow-up to the well-received original, arrives this month too. Developed by Jump Over the Age, the narrative-driven RPG unfolds in the Starward Belt of the Helion System where players control a Sleeper, an artificial form housing a human consciousness, while evading a criminal group.

Quests, ship commandeering, alliances, and meaningful choices shape the experience. The sequel is available to PS Plus members on PS5.
