Amflow, the e-bike brand originating from DJI, has unveiled the TL Carbon. This versatile eSUV suits both extended bikepacking trips and routine tasks such as dropping a child at daycare during the morning commute.

The TL Carbon centers on Amflow's compact yet strong Avinox M2 mid-drive motor. The all-terrain model supplies 125Nm of torque and reaches 1100W peak output. Battery capacity extends to 1280Wh when the 800Wh removable pack pairs with a 480Wh extender. Riders can also select a hub that charges as many as four batteries in sequence.

Standard equipment includes mudguards, integrated lights, and a rear rack rated for 27kg. An optional front rack adds another 20kg of capacity. The rear rack accepts MIK HD accessories for fast attachment of child seats, panniers, or trailers. Front fork travel, rear suspension, and wide knobby tires manage trail obstacles and road imperfections. Total system payload reaches 200kg while the bike itself can weigh as little as 22.6kg.

Electronic shifting senses gear changes and executes smooth cassette shifts without requiring rider pedaling. On steep grades the system lowers motor torque during shifts to reduce drivetrain stress.

Further highlights include Apple Find My support for locating a missing bike, heart-rate sensor integration that adjusts pedal assist to maintain target zones, and direct control of DJI Osmo cameras from the bike display.

Pricing starts at 3499 euros in Europe and 3199 pounds in the UK. US pricing remains to be confirmed along with shipping dates. The TL Carbon will reach global markets later this year.
