The Women’s Super League reaches its final matchday with several standout players saying goodbye to their clubs.

Arsenal stalwarts Beth Mead and Katie McCabe will feature for the last time in red, joined by Victoria Pelova and Laia Codina. Naomi Williams and Manuela Zinsberger are also set to depart north London this summer.

Sam Kerr will close out her Chelsea career today, while Stamford Bridge says farewell to Millie Bright after her retirement from the professional game.

Meanwhile, uncertainty lingers over Khadija Shaw’s future as she is poised to leave Manchester City when her deal expires.

Following last night’s victory, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery indicated that Champions League qualification eases pressure on his squad ahead of next week’s Europa League final.

He remarked: “Now we can approach the final solely focused on lifting a trophy. It validates the project we are developing here.

“The league remains the top priority and the toughest competition. Maintaining consistency throughout the year is the major test we set ourselves. We strive for our best level and to perform with ease.

The Scottish Premiership concludes with leaders Hearts taking on second-placed Celtic at Celtic Park in a decisive title clash. Hearts require just a single point to secure their first league crown in 66 years.

It is also the final day of the WSL season, where Manchester City are set to lift the trophy for the first time in ten years. Arsenal visit Liverpool at Anfield aiming to confirm second spot, while Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
