Ronda Rousey and Jake Paul have mocked the UFC and Dana White after the promotion failed to top Most Valuable Promotions' MMA audience record with the White House event last week.

US broadcaster Paramount reported that UFC 250 Freedom on Sunday drew 7m viewers in the US on Paramount+.

Netflix stated that Rousey's 15-second win over Gina Carano in May averaged 9.3m US viewers with a peak of 11.6m.

Paul, who co-founded MVP with Nakisa Bidarian, posted on X: "As a boxing promoter it feels good waking up today being the biggest MMA promoter."

Paul has often targeted UFC president White, and the MVP-promoted Rousey versus Carano bout was framed as a takeover of MMA by the boxer.

Rousey, who opted for an MVP card over the UFC due to purse demands, responded to the figures by directing comments at UFC chief business officer Hunter Campbell.

"Lmao! Kiss my ass, Hunter Campbell," Rousey said.

UFC White House, featuring two title fights on the south lawn of President Donald Trump's residence, averaged 8.2m viewers across the US and Latin America.

Paramount noted that 17m people watched at least one minute of the event in those regions, including 15.3m in the US.

It confirmed the live figures were verified by Nielsen and Adobe Analytics.

Netflix released no numbers beyond the US and did not confirm verification by Nielsen or others.

Paramount indicated the UFC may share additional global data for the White House event.

American Justin Gaethje delivered a storybook finish on the president's 80th birthday by defeating Ilia Topuria in the main event.

Gaethje, a Trump backer, captured the UFC lightweight title for the first time at age 37.
