England international Hannah Hampton has agreed a new two-year contract with Chelsea.

The goalkeeper's previous deal was due to finish this summer, and retaining her was vital for Chelsea after a tough 2025-26 season.

Having moved from Aston Villa in 2023, Hampton has risen to become one of the top goalkeepers worldwide and established herself as the first-choice keeper for the Lionesses.

The 25-year-old has secured five trophies since arriving in west London and played a key role as England lifted the Euro 2025 title.

She claimed the Yashin Trophy as the world's best goalkeeper at last year's Ballon d'Or and follows fellow England players Lucy Bronze and Aggie Beever-Jones in extending her Chelsea stay this summer.

"I'm really happy," Hampton said. "Chelsea have always been my dream club to play for in England so to be able to extend for another two years is a proud moment.

"When I moved to London from the Midlands, it was my first time moving away from home and everyone at Chelsea made it feel like a home away from home and somewhere I have been able to grow, not only as a player, but as a person.

"I don't want that journey to stop and I want to continue to grow more and learn more as a person. I know there is so much more I can achieve and so much more, we as a team, can achieve.

"I am going to do everything I can to help Chelsea get back to being as successful as we have been in the past."

Hampton was also part of the England squad that won Euro 2022 and reached the 2023 Women's World Cup final.

She helped Chelsea to an unbeaten domestic treble in 2024-25 and has earned back-to-back Golden Glove awards in the WSL.
