Who would expect issues at a ground set between motorways, far from town, with limited public transport?

The morning has also seen swings. India took three early wickets before Amy Jones and Nat Sciver-Brunt steadied things for an hour and a half, pushing England past the follow-on mark. Jones fell soon after her fifty, and England still have work ahead to level the match.

I am off for a sandwich and perhaps face painting from an eager five-year-old. Wish me luck.
