5th minute: England coach Sarina Wiegman watches closely, with several Lionesses on display. Grace Clinton from City catches her eye, while Lauren Hemp sends a low cross across the face of goal - Hasegawa narrowly misses it.

3rd minute: Lauren James powers forward with a strong run and unleashes a thunderous shot that flies just wide. Chelsea explode into action right away.

2nd minute: Chelsea press early, as Thompson draws a superb stop from City goalkeeper Keating. The resulting corner spells trouble, but it’s eventually cleared for a goal kick.

Second FA Cup semi-final underway

Headline team news: Khadija Shaw starts up top for City, as anticipated. Absent is Rebecca Knaak due to a shoulder issue from her goal against Liverpool that helped seal the WSL crown.

Nineteen of City’s 58 goals came from Shaw, the standout performer. As the main attacking threat, she has been dominant and is a lock for WSL player of the season. City also boast firepower from the wings via England’s Lauren Hemp and Dutch full-back Kerstin Casparij. Set pieces are a strength too, boosted by Greenwood’s deliveries - her 19 WSL assists from dead balls is a record.
