Crimea confronts economic and power breakdown with Ukrainians cautioning of further decline. Crimea now lacks petrol electricity and water stated Komsomolskaya Pravda correspondent Alexander Kots on Sunday following fresh strikes on the occupied area.

Ukrainian deputy defence minister adviser Serhiy Sternenko noted that Russians will recall with dread what Ukraine has in store for Crimea and expressed no envy for the last occupier to depart.

Magyar Birds commander Robert Brovdi addressed a detailed message to the bunker grandpa referring to Putin in which he apologised to Ukrainians in occupied zones for repeated air alerts and urged avoidance of military sites and flammable materials.

He described Russians in Crimea facing total air defence failure strikes on remaining Black Sea Fleet units shutdown of the shadow economy full resource and logistics depletion end of tourism an energy desert transport isolation and similar outcomes.

While this may involve strong rhetoric the Russian position in Crimea appears severely strained. Videos at the article end show Russian convoys with mobile anti-drone units as a response to logistics attacks though results remain limited so far.

French analyst Clément Molin noted that Ukrainian medium-range strikes continue without slowdown and have even increased. On Sunday he shared data from three days of video analysis showing roughly 30 truck strikes daily attributing the rise to more drones outpacing current Russian defences.

These pressures prompted occupation authorities to enact several major measures over the weekend and Monday morning which together signal the outcomes Brovdi outlined.

Sevastopol mayor Mikhail Razvozhayev announced on Saturday that fuel deliveries face delays and all fuel sales have stopped with remaining stocks reserved solely for emergency and security services until Tuesday.

Razvozhayev reported ongoing air raids via his channel on Saturday and issued new security rules on Sunday including daytime public transport from 5:30 to 21:00 suspended ferry services shopping centres open 7:00 to 20:00 no street lighting possible electricity cuts outside Sevastopol due to network strain calls to cut consumption and cancel all outdoor events until further notice.

On Monday morning Republic of Crimea leaders cancelled childrens camps from 22 June to 1 September. Children already in camps will return home with details shared via education ministry channels or directly to parents. Reports indicate Russians have been cancelling Crimea bookings in large numbers.

Weekend events that worsened conditions. A key factor involved disabling three ferries crossing the Kerch Strait. Initial footage shows two vessels underway with Russians downing an overhead drone while later images depict three ships smoking after direct hits at sea.

Authorities also stopped traffic on the R-280 road in southern occupied Ukraine. The Crimean Bridge offers no full relief since rail tank trains run only in rare cases after prior damage and heavy lorries face bans.

Russian commentator Rybar and others suggested that after achieving fuel shortages and power cuts the opponent will target the Crimean Bridge as the next step. His map highlighted key supply points under Ukrainian attack.

Rybar outlined a timeline noting systematic strikes from mid-2025 on Crimean ports and Russian coastal sites to limit goods and passenger movement followed by naval drone attacks on tankers and Azov Sea vessels raising insurance costs and reducing port traffic. Sustained hits on fuel depots in Crimea and Krasnodar further made storage risky increasing reliance on external supplies. Once sea routes were constrained and fuel scarce attacks shifted to the land corridor in southern occupied Ukraine with parallel strikes on rail infrastructure affecting services in Crimea and Novorossiya.

A semiconductor plant in Voronezh was struck by precision weapons. The site makes electronic parts for modern Russian arms including ballistic missiles. Russian sources reported cruise missile hits possibly Storm Shadow or Flamingo types with the building catching fire. The strike was precise amid dense urban surroundings yet nearby structures remained untouched in released footage. Local video from the 15th second shows a missile manoeuvring into the target appearing larger than a Storm Shadow.

Russian units advance nearer to the northern limits of Kostyantynivka. Russian infantry raised flags at three new spots marked on a map by the Ukrainian channel Petrenko which noted limited overall Russian numbers preventing full control of filmed areas yet described the town situation as extremely tense.

OSINT account Playfra observed that Russian forces had previously reached farther north into Osykove village midway between Kostyantynivka and Druzhkivka. The author estimated several hundred Russians in the town likening conditions to Pokrovsk near its fall late last year. Russian maps indicate the southern half occupied but the Dvaja majori channel reported ongoing clearance of enemy groups in the south-western zone shown as controlled on other maps.

Russian forces ignite a Turkish vessel heading to Odesa and harm two additional ships. An Egyptian crew member died in the strike with survivors rescued by the Ukrainian navy. Russian forces also hit two more vessels under Belize and Palau flags according to Ukrainian foreign minister Andrii Sybiha. This appears a response to the Crimea blockade as war supporters have criticised Odesa port continuing operations for grain exports and imports despite raids.

A Russian tanker driver showed quick reflexes and fortune to avoid a Hornet drone at the final instant. Another tanker of the same orange type was less fortunate. Russian forces now escort tankers in convoys along the R-280 road.

By Monday (6 June) Russia had recorded losses of 23,593 heavy equipment pieces (previously 23,556 on 1 June). Of these Ukrainians destroyed 18,585 (18,551) damaged 982 (979) with crews abandoning 1,199 (1,199) and capturing 2,827 (2,827). This covers 4,397 (4,394) tanks including 3,300 (3,293) destroyed in combat.
Ukraine recorded losses of 11,425 (11,397) equipment pieces of which 8,888 (8,863) were destroyed 680 (678) damaged 670 (669) abandoned and 1,187 (1,187) captured. This includes 1,426 (1,424) tanks with 1,091 (1,089) destroyed in combat.
