Of late, I have contemplated my debut tattoo, sparked by an image of artist Keith Haring applying his iconic flair to a miniature Ferrari 330 children's car ahead of the 1984 24 Hours of Le Mans. Haring's bold, lively illustrations have long captivated me, and this vibrant cluster on such a compact surface proves no different. The standout element graces the nosecone: a figure with a car for a head, arms flung wide, dynamic lines bursting forth as if the head morphed cartoonishly into vehicle form moments before capture.
