Many people enjoy piloting understated cars that avoid notice, the sort of ride only the most dedicated fans might appreciate. I am not among them. I relish drawing eyes when behind the wheel, whether in my own gold Mercedes CLS or a press vehicle on assignment. Over the weekend I drove a pink Lamborghini Revuelto that sparked smiles and turned heads at every stop, which brings me to today's question: What car have you driven that received the greatest attention?

This could mean glances from pedestrians or in a lot, reactions from fellow motorists, or comments on social posts. Which ride earned the most thumbs up or down, excited shouts, or photos snapped? Share your thoughts below.

This Mercedes race car stands out most

I live in Los Angeles, where car looks get plenty of notice, and I often wonder what grabs the most stares. A silver Bentley Flying Spur a few years back drew almost no interest, much like a basic sedan. Yet a bright orange version last year had everyone in town looking. The new Ford Maverick prompted many questions from passersby during a loan, as did early EVs like the Polestar 2 before sales began.

The Revuelto ranks high for attention, along with a China Blue Mercedes G63 when that shade was fresh and uncommon, and a pink Porsche Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo right after launch. Even in plain white, the Bugatti Veyron felt like a spacecraft that stopped traffic.

Above nearly every other car, the Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II race car I drove for an hour at Monterey Car Week this year captured the most excitement. The event setting helped, with crowds of fans, yet reactions were unmatched. People offered the biggest grins, thumbs ups, and photo requests I can recall.

What about you? Which car have you driven that got the most notice, and how did you feel about it? Let me know below, and I will collect top replies later this week.
