Peregryn Automotive has revealed plans to deliver a Le Mans inspired V8 supercar to America. The Peregryn GT-R leads the lineup and will be joined by a road focused GT-S model.

The firm has secured the rights, tooling, and intellectual property from Ultima Cars, a British maker renowned for its ultra fast lightweight machines. Production now moves to the United States and will include two variants: the GT-S and the more extreme GT-R.

The GT-S serves as a grand tourer with more than 500 hp and a top speed above 200 mph. Buyers can select either digital or analogue dashboards for added convenience. The GT-R steps up performance with as much as 700 hp and a 0 to 60 mph sprint in 2.2 seconds, matching the pace of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.

Both models rely on proven Chevrolet LS and LT series V8 engines, delivering strong tuning options and easy parts support across the country.

A lightweight spaceframe chassis underpins the cars, with a dry weight near 2,100 pounds and a carbon aero package that generates more than 1,200 pounds of downforce.

Production starts in March 2027 with deliveries following soon after. Pricing begins at about $195,000.
