McLaren is presenting enthusiasts with an exceptional chance to possess a true segment of its Formula 1 legacy as five competition cars are made available to private buyers. The vehicles will be offered separately with expert dealer Tom Hartley Jnr selected by McLaren Racing to locate purchasers. Specific prices remain undisclosed.

The assortment covers 32 years and features two 1991 MP4/6A chassis driven by Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger along with a 2012 MP4/27A the 2021 MCL35M and Lando Norris 2023 MCL37A.

This provides a distinctive overview of McLaren contemporary F1 narrative stretching from the early 1990s to the current ground-effect era cars. The 2023 model is noted as the most recent Formula 1 car to be made available for private ownership.

Each of the five cars has stayed with McLaren following their last races and will be readied by the squad prior to delivery to their future owners.

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown explains that the choice aims to return the cars to active use instead of keeping them concealed in storage.

Opportunities of this nature are infrequent for collectors. Possessing a McLaren road car is notable yet acquiring a genuine McLaren F1 racer stands apart.
