On June 6, during the nation's celebration day, the Jesko Absolut became the first production car to break past 300 km/h (186 mph) across the quarter mile. Factory test driver Markus Lundh registered 305.39 km/h (189.76 mph) precisely at the quarter-mile point.

Additional milestones followed. The high-speed effort extended onward to the half-mile point, where the mid-engine V8 powerhouse attained 373.87 km/h (232.31 mph). All remarkable numbers received independent confirmation from Racelogic, validating the dual-speed records for both distances. Onboard data further revealed the Jesko Absolut required just 2.35 seconds to accelerate from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph), while the dash from 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) consumed only 8.3 seconds.

The outcome gains further distinction given the car's strict rear-wheel-drive layout and complete lack of hybrid support. The paired record attempt occurred on an unprepared runway surface, and the Jesko Absolut used standard production tires. Footage also captured the driver managing a phone in one hand while steering with the other.

For owners fortunate enough to possess a Jesko Absolut in a controlled environment, Koenigsegg offers positive updates. Adjustments enabling this record performance will arrive through an over-the-air software push to existing cars, unlocking additional output potential.

The pace at which the Jesko Absolut gains velocity appears extraordinary, made possible by the near-instant shifts of its nine-speed automatic gearbox. It covered the interval from 100 to 200 km/h (62 to 124 mph) in 2.53 seconds, with the V8 directing torque solely to the rear wheels absent any front electric assistance.
