Ineos posted impressive first-quarter sales, yet the firm is gearing up to broaden its portfolio and boost figures further. The Fusilier arrives in 2028, alongside considerations for more compact off-roaders.

Speaking to Autocar at a Siemens gathering, Ineos CEO Lynn Calder disclosed plans for two extra models after the Fusilier, without creating any from scratch like the Grenadier. The strategy shifts to platform collaborations.

Calder noted that finalized partnerships would speed up launches. No alterations to the Grenadier's wheelbase or major platform overhauls are planned, ruling out a shrunken Grenadier but promising a compact 4x4.

Partner identities remain under wraps, though discussions with China's Chery have surfaced, eyeing its extended-range setup.

Ineos targets US manufacturing by 2030's close. Strong yearly kickoff notwithstanding, industry-wide hurdles like tariffs, regulatory shifts, and economic flux pose tests.
