The 2027 GMC Hummer EV range now includes a 25th anniversary model that pays tribute to the original Hummer H2 introduced in 2002.
Known as the Hummer EV Icon 25, both the SUV and truck versions come with a yellow paint finish drawn from the first H2 along with other distinctive touches.
Every 2027 electric Hummer gains a standard NACS charging port for Tesla Supercharger access, though full pricing remains to be confirmed by GMC.

Anyone who recalls the yellow Hummer H2 unveiled at the 2002 Los Angeles auto show will recognize the spirit behind the new limited edition marking its 25th year. Although the 2027 GMC Hummer EV Icon 25 differs greatly in design and swaps the original V-8 for an electric drivetrain delivering as much as 1000 hp, its wide stance and bright yellow finish capture a similar presence.

Buyers can order the Icon 25 edition on either the SUV or pickup when selecting the 2X or 3X trim. The package brings an "Icon" yellow paint that echoes the classic H2 shade, a black bumper shield, and a Jet Black cabin theme. A numbered plaque appears on the dash while the infotainment display shows drive-mode graphics that nod to the heritage model.

Beyond the anniversary edition, the 2027 Hummer EV gains Tesla's NACS port and full access to the Supercharger network. Owners can also use the truck or SUV as a home backup power source when paired with the GM Energy PowerShift Charger and V2H kit. New color choices for the model year include Azurite Blue, Dark Ember, Dark Ridge, Deep Void Matte, and Icon.

Production of the 2027 Hummer EV SUV and truck begins later this year at GM's Factory Zero plant in Detroit and Hamtramck, Michigan. While build numbers for the special edition are not yet official, the dashboard badge hints at a run of 250 units. Pricing details will be released closer to dealer arrival.
