It has its drawbacks and can be tricky to navigate after updates, yet this is the trade-off for access to an extensive array of videos. While algorithms often receive criticism for promoting undesirable material, on YouTube they frequently suggest enjoyable viewing options.

My subscriptions include various racing events, gamers focused on horror and relaxing titles, along with several automotive channels such as MotorWeek, the Torque Test Channel, former Jalopnik writer Alanis King, and Brick Technology, known for constructing a functional five-speed transmission using Lego bricks. Recently added to my recommendations, following our coverage here, is The Questionable Garage and their efforts to restore an EV-1. This model held a special place in my youthful visions of the future, prior to its discontinuation by GM. Thus, I find myself captivated by the team's work reviving it independently.

Among my top picks, subscribed for two years according to YouTube, stands Stay Tuned. Led by Tony Angelo, a colleague and charismatic figure who bears a resemblance to an older sibling of mine, possibly due to shared Italian heritage. His on-screen charisma, honed during his time with Lucky Costa on MotorTrend's Hot Rod Garage and now through his independent channel, remains engaging. A short stint with Hagerty revealed some behind-the-scenes creative tensions, but now he collaborates with a small team on diverse builds, swaps, and rebuilds, often enjoying pizza. One standout episode involves applying tractor paint to a V12-powered Ford Mustang, resulting in an impressively appealing finish for such an economical job.

Stay Tuned features multiple projects rather than focusing on a single one, yet individual builds are certainly possible.
