Cupra and tuning specialist ABT have introduced new hand-finished exterior styling packages for the Formentor and Leon ranges, first displayed at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

The Custom Cupra by ABT kit aims to deliver the sporty character of the Leon VZ TCR and Formentor VZ5 to all powertrain versions, and in Europe it will be offered for new orders or as a dealer-installed option from July 2026.

Key features comprise an extended roof spoiler, enhanced splitters, and distinctive alloy wheels sized according to each variant. The package also replaces the copper Cupra emblems with Dark Chrome versions, previously limited to certain special editions.

All components are assembled by hand at the Cupra Racing Factory in Martorell, Spain. Details for each model package follow.

Cupra Leon

Both the Leon Hatch and Sportstourer wagon can receive the Custom Cupra by ABT package, including the competition-focused Leon VZ TCR derived from the Nurburgring-winning Golf GTI Edition 50.

Upgrades feature a revised front splitter and side skirts, complemented by an enlarged rear spoiler, winglets, C-flap mouldings, and a new rear diffuser with lateral decorative elements.

Standard Leon variants are fitted with 19-inch Mistral wheels in sport black matt, while the Leon VZ receives 19-inch Custom wheels in the same finish. Certain powertrains, including the 221kW VZ, 239kW VZ TCR and 245kW Sportstourer VZ, also gain wider high-performance tyres.

ABT branding appears on the roof spoiler alongside Dark Chrome Cupra logos that underscore the package exclusivity.

Cupra Formentor

The Formentor crossover SUV receives comparable ABT enhancements that echo the spirited character of the five-cylinder Formentor VZ5.

The front gains a new splitter and air curtain frames to sharpen the stance, while the rear features a prominent roof spoiler and C-flap mouldings.

Side door mouldings create a lowered appearance, and 19-inch custom matte black wheels with ABT branding complete the track-inspired look.

Dark Chrome Cupra badging is applied throughout. The VZ5 variant omits the ABT front and rear splitters yet adds exclusive 20-inch gloss black wheels.

Australia

Although the global announcement confirms availability from July 2026, it is not yet known if the kits will reach Australian models.
