Bentley offers an early interior preview of the Torcal, its first electric vehicle.

As is common with new launches, the journey toward the Bentley Torcal reveal includes various teasers of differing appeal. The latest one emphasizes diamond patterns as a recurring element in Crewe models dating back to the 1920s. This first EV will uphold the tradition through a floating diamond grille and diamond-stitched seat upholstery. Still, another detail draws notice.

The brief teaser video affords a cabin glimpse centered on a curved touchscreen. Bentley stays reserved on the infotainment specifics, yet it appears similar to the Cayenne EV Flow Display. This connection makes sense given the Torcal's expected close ties to the large electric SUV from Zuffenhausen.

Porsche equips a curved 12.3-inch OLED panel that reaches the lower center console area, and a comparable setup seems present here. Differences appear in the Torcal dashboard arrangement, however. More physical controls sit below the screen, such as a sizable rotary knob absent from the electric Cayenne. Additional switches flank the dial on both sides, exceeding the count in the related model.

The curved screen flashes briefly in the teaser video, suggesting it may not match the Porsche Cayenne EV size exactly. Like its counterpart, the Torcal includes a fully digital instrument cluster. Some might note that Bentley could have added analog gauges for greater luxury appeal to support its premium pricing, yet that choice was not made.

Bentley has shared limited Torcal information, noting only that it will be slightly smaller than the Bentayga and that no combustion engines are planned. The dual-motor Cayenne Turbo setup delivers 1,140 hp, while the Porsche 113-kWh battery enables 400-kW charging and nearly 400 miles (642 kilometers) of WLTP range.

Whether the Torcal matches these figures is unclear, but its price will exceed the Cayenne Turbo Electric starting point of $165,350, likely beginning with a 2. Full pricing and specifications are set for release on September 23 during the London world premiere.
