Alfa Romeo positions the Junior as the starting point in its Australian range, and a current promotion has improved its overall value proposition for customers.

Orders taken and completed by September 30, 2026, or until supplies run out, allow the Junior Ibrida to be acquired for $49,990 drive-away, with premium paint and a sunroof now included at no extra charge.

The standard Junior Ibrida lists from $46,990 before on-road costs, resulting in $51,261 drive-away pricing in New South Wales. Premium paint and a sunroof normally add $1990 to the total.

The offer covers only Series 0 vehicles, the first shipment that arrived when the compact SUV launched locally in 2025. It cannot be used with other promotions and is unavailable to government or rental fleet buyers.

Newer Ibrida Series 1 examples are priced at $54,990 drive-away with matching inclusions. This update introduced a space-saver spare in place of the tyre repair kit and removed the paddle shifters.

The front-wheel-drive Junior Ibrida combines a turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing 107kW and 230Nm overall. It pairs with a six-speed electrified dual-clutch automatic and a 0.42kWh lithium-ion battery.

The electric Elettrica variant features a front-mounted 115kW/260Nm motor and a 51kWh battery that supports 407km of WLTP range.

Alfa Romeo sold 94 Juniors in Australia last year, placing it just behind the related Jeep Avenger even with both mild-hybrid and electric powertrains on offer.

Year-to-date results show the Junior ahead with 69 units delivered by the end of June, compared with 43 Avengers.

The Junior and Avenger are produced in Tychy, Poland on the same platform as the Fiat 600, which is not available locally.

Alfa Romeo's lowest-priced model sits just one sale behind its strongest seller, the Giulia sedan, in current year figures.

Brand-wide deliveries have declined 26.2 per cent so far this year, with the Giulia, Stelvio and Tonale all recording double-digit drops. A refreshed Tonale has entered showrooms while next-generation Giulia and Stelvio models remain delayed.
