Toyota has introduced the 2027 Sequoia with a more assertive exterior following the recent Tundra refresh. The overall shape stays largely unchanged, yet the updates include rectangular fog light housings, a revised grille pattern and a modified lower bumper section. These adjustments appear modest but Toyota notes the grille LED light bar now delivers greater brightness. While visual enhancements help, interior qualities remain important for overall appeal.

The Sequoia carries over the 1794 Edition from the prior model year with few other interior shifts. It now features the newest Toyota infotainment setup with a standard 14-inch screen that offers faster voice response times along with a standard dashcam for added convenience.

Trail hunter Package Adds Off-Road Capability

The Sequoia joins other Toyota models by offering a Trailhunter trim. Based on the SR5, this package includes Michelin LTX Trail tires on bronze wheels, Old Man Emu suspension, front recovery hooks and improved underbody protection. It also provides a locking rear differential, crawl control and multiple off-road drive modes plus distinctive Trailhunter emblems.

Toyota has not yet disclosed pricing or full powertrain specifications. Additional details on availability will be shared closer to production start this fall.
