Nissan Australia has announced details for the updated Z Coupe models set for the local market, with ordering available now and customer deliveries starting in September 2026.

The 2027 Nissan Z lineup introduces a manual transmission option for the top Nismo variant, accompanied by subtle styling revisions, improved chassis components, and enhanced interior features.

The Nismo manual employs a short-stroke six-speed manual gearbox with specially calibrated drive modes, while keeping the potent 309kW and 520Nm power output, which is 11kW and 45Nm more than the base version.

Nismo versions also receive upgraded two-piece front brake discs sourced from the R35 GT-R, complete with a fresh caliper finish. These parts reduce unsprung weight by approximately 9kg.

Base Z models feature a redesigned front bumper and grille, plus fresh 19-inch wheel designs. New monotube dampers on Nismo models are said to enhance both handling and comfort.

A new Unryu Green paint color debuts as the hero shade, and Boulder Grey with black roof returns as an option.

All variants now include a wireless charging pad, and the standard Z offers a tan interior trim at no extra cost.

Additional updates encompass a frameless auto-dimming mirror, a fresh startup animation on the cluster, and a redesigned key fob.

The Nissan Z comes with a 10-year or 300,000km warranty including roadside assistance, provided servicing occurs at official dealers.

Service costs for the initial five years are capped at $499 per visit.

Prices have seen modest increases. The standard Z starts at $76,800 before on-roads, up by $640, with the same figure for manual or automatic.

The Nismo is listed at $95,000 plus on-roads, an increase of $395, identical pricing for either transmission choice.
