Mercedes-Benz has revealed Australian pricing for the refreshed GLE lineup, which features updated styling inside and out along with several other enhancements.

Pre-orders are open now, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in Australia from November 2026, except for AMG models which arrive in early 2027.

Buyers who place an order or purchase a GLE350d SUV or GLE450 Coupe by September 30, 2026 will receive a free three-year service plan.

The GLE continues to offer both standard SUV and coupe body styles, with AMG Line and Night packages now included as standard equipment across the board.

Pricing opens at $142,300 before on-road costs for the GLE350d SUV, which uses a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel inline-six producing 210kW and 650Nm, supported by a 48V mild-hybrid system, all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic.

This model replaces the previous 198kW/550Nm turbo-diesel four-cylinder GLE300d that cost $5700 less, while the more powerful 270kW/750Nm GLE450d diesel has been discontinued locally though it remains available overseas.

The GLE Coupe range starts at $160,400 before on-road costs with the GLE450, powered by a 280kW/560Nm turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six petrol with 48V mild-hybrid assistance, all-wheel drive and nine-speed auto.

Both the GLE450 Coupe and GLE350d SUV come with Comfort Suspension, while Airmatic air suspension is available as a $3800 option.

AMG GLE53 versions of both body styles are offered at $187,900 plus on-roads, featuring a significantly updated turbocharged 3.0-litre mild-hybrid inline-six petrol engine delivering 330kW and 600Nm (with 640Nm available for 10 seconds in Overboost), paired with the AMG Speedshift TCT 9G nine-speed auto and AMG Ride Control+ suspension.

The range is led by the AMG GLE63 S, priced from $277,900 plus on-roads for the SUV and $279,900 plus on-roads for the Coupe.

These models are equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo mild-hybrid petrol V8 producing 450kW and 850Nm, combined with all-wheel drive and the nine-speed automatic.

The twin-turbo petrol V8 GLE580 will not be offered in Australia, although Mercedes-Benz is evaluating the GLE450e plug-in hybrid for possible future introduction.

"The GLE450e plug-in hybrid is under consideration for Australia and might join the range at a later stage," a Mercedes-Benz Australia spokesperson stated.

Several option packages are available for the updated GLE range.

All GLE SUVs except the GLE63 S can be specified with an optional third-row seat for seven-passenger capacity at an additional $3500.

A Towbar Package costing $3000 adds trailer coupling and raises towing capacity to 3500kg braked and 750kg unbraked with a 280kg downball rating.

The Plus Package at $8500 (available on all variants except GLE63 S) includes multicontour front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, power-closing doors, Thermotronic climate control, Magic Vision Control, Air Balance package, Energizing Air Control Plus and surround lighting with animated logo projection.

The GLE63 S can be fitted with a carbon-fibre package for $6000 that adds a carbon-fibre engine cover, interior trim and a carbon-fibre and microfibre steering wheel.

The AMG Dynamic Plus Package priced at $6500 equips the GLE53 with AMG Active Ride Control, roll stabilisation, a high-performance composite braking system and a Nappa leather/microfibre-wrapped steering wheel.

Additional options include illuminated aluminium-look running boards at $1300 and Digital Light headlights for $2800 on the GLE350d SUV.

Revealed earlier this year, the updated GLE features revised front and rear lighting plus a thicker grille surround to better align with recent Mercedes-Benz models.

The interior has been fully revised with a standard Superscreen arrangement comprising three 12.3-inch displays: a digital instrument cluster, central touchscreen and passenger touchscreen, flanked by new round air vents and a pair of slim central vents.

The system runs on the MB.OS operating platform supporting over-the-air updates, while the MBUX interface manages user interaction and the enhanced Virtual Assistant handles more complex commands.
