The Bentley Flying Spur undergoes a notable refresh, marked by the revival of the performance-oriented S badge and fresh styling updates both inside and out.

Production starts in the UK during September for the 2027 Bentley Flying Spur, which introduces revised design elements including a single headlight layout - the first such change for a Bentley sedan since 1962. The sporty S rejoins the range with a host of exclusive features and appointments.

The 2027 Flying Spur S employs a 500kW/930Nm Bentley High Performance Hybrid setup, using the same 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo plug-in hybrid system found in the related Continental and Porsche Panamera, with 95kW more power than the prior version.

Update, 10/06/2026: Bentley's Australian division has confirmed the new Flying Spur is available to order now from $508,000 excluding options, stamp duty, and local charges.

Bentley lists a 0-100km/h sprint of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 191mph (307km/h). The Bentley Performance Active Chassis combines variable all-wheel drive, twin-valve dampers, torque vectoring and a 48V active anti-roll system to deliver the power effectively.

The Flying Spur S stands out with its standard Blackline Specification featuring gloss black exterior trim instead of chrome, plus black mirror caps and tinted matrix LED headlights and tail lights.

The darkened headlight units incorporate Bentley's 'Precision' detailing, a feature shared exclusively with the flagship Speed model.

Bentley notes that the S addition expands seating options to five specifications, each requiring 12 hours of handcrafting and available with fluted or quilted inserts.

The updated Flying Spur introduces the 'Virtuoso Collection' from the Mulliner division, paired with the premium Naim for Mulliner audio system and special interior details highlighted by Champagne Gold accents inspired by musical craftsmanship.

Buyers selecting a Virtuoso Collection can pick from three themes - Soprano, Tenor and Bass - described as ranging from serene, light interiors to darker, dramatic designs.

Champagne Gold detailing appears throughout the exterior and interior, covering winged badges, exhaust finishers, collection badges and even a Champagne Gold-edged key.

The Naim for Mulliner system, positioned as Bentley's most immersive audio experience, adds £25,000 (A$47,390) in the UK before taxes and includes updates for the Virtuoso Collection, with 21 speakers featuring patented 'M' cones for linear frequency response and improved sound dispersion.

The refreshed Bentley Flying Spur also gains a new Dark Teal exterior paint, a mid-blue metallic finish with green hints for a contemporary, nature-inspired look.
