About 30 percent of the Israeli public remains undecided about their vote in the upcoming Knesset elections on October 27, according to a KAN news poll released on Sunday.

When heading to the polls, voters cite the economy (34 percent) and national security (32 percent) as their chief concerns, per KAN. These priorities split along party lines, with 45 percent of coalition-aligned voters naming security as their top issue and 41 percent of opposition-aligned voters pointing to the economy and cost of living. In contrast, just 19 percent of coalition voters prioritized economic matters, while only 28 percent of opposition voters focused on security.

Although nearly one-third of respondents were undecided, another 39 percent stated that nothing could alter their choice before election day, according to the KAN poll. Close to 20 percent indicated that shifts in the security situation could sway their decision, and the same share said changes in the cost of living might influence them.

Additionally, 33 percent of those surveyed said they would accept a unity government if neither major bloc secures a majority. Just over a quarter preferred holding another election in that scenario, while 20 percent backed a minority government.

Eisenkot bloc edges ahead of Netanyahu coalition as Winter drops below threshold

The KAN poll projects Gadi Eisenkot's bloc at 52 seats, narrowly ahead of the current coalition's 51.

Eisenkot's Yashar party rose by one seat to 23 mandates, surpassing Likud's 21. Yair Golan's Democrats party also gained one seat to reach nine, its highest projection since early September.

Former prime minister Naftali Bennett's B'Yachad party held steady at 12 seats. The Reservists-Economic party, led by Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha, remained at four mandates.

The Religious Zionist Party-Zehut alliance, headed by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin, climbed two seats to seven. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit party fell one seat to eight. Shas gained one seat to reach eight, while United Torah Judaism lost one to land at seven. The Arab Joint List stayed at eight seats, as did Avigdor Liberman's Yisrael Beytenu, with Ra'am unchanged at five.

Benny Gantz's Blue and White, Moti Leitner's Haredi Public, and Ofer Winter's People of Israel parties all fell below the electoral threshold.
