A 16-year-old resident of the West Bank was charged by the IDF military prosecutor on Monday for plotting a terror attack following his arrest two weeks earlier.

The accused individual admitted the facts to police questioners and disclosed the location where he had concealed a knife connected to the allegations.

Israel Police Detain Nine Suspects Across the West Bank

Also on Monday, Israel Police stated that security forces detained nine individuals during overnight operations throughout the West Bank. Among them was the father of the Palestinian attacker responsible for the deadly shooting near Gilad Farm on Friday.

Police offered no details on suspicions against the father and made no claim of his direct role in the attack. He was moved for interrogation.

Three additional wanted individuals were detained in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus during an undercover Border Police action overseen by the Shin Bet.

Authorities noted the three faced suspicions of terrorist involvement but gave no further information and did not connect them to Friday's attack. They were transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning.
