Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei put out a written message on Sunday calling on Gulf leaders to spot their true enemy and learn the ways to face it.

The communication, put out to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, also advocated for Muslim unity and joint protection from foes.

Iran's leader has not appeared publicly for months after being involved in the initial attacks of the recent Israel-Iran conflict, in which his father, former leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, lost his life.

Based on evaluations from Israel and the US, Khamenei made it through the strike but suffered serious injuries, yet he has kept governing the nation.

"The unity of Muslims against global disbelief represents a Quranic approach and a core principle of the authentic Islam taught by Prophet Muhammad, rather than something shallow or temporary," Khamenei stated in his message.

Araghchi advocates for diplomatic efforts

On the previous Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a statement noting that Iran's dedication to peace and stability equals its resolute diplomatic work with neighboring countries.

The official has held discussions with delegates from nearby states, particularly Oman and Pakistan, as part of fresh efforts toward regional diplomacy.

"Discussions with guests from Pakistan and Oman highlighted regional solutions. An example is the suggested plan for a new corridor, shared mine removal, and upcoming oversight of Hormuz," Araghchi noted.

Later on Friday, the Iranian FM mentioned a meeting with Qatar's Foreign Minister, stating that restoring diplomacy to its proper course is achievable.

"It depends on the US recognizing one basic truth: pressure fails. The US needs to foster trust, communicate with respect, recognize our entitlements, and honor its pledges," Araghchi asserted.
