Iranian officials used the period surrounding Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s extended funeral ceremonies to underscore their dedication to the Axis of Resistance, as shown through multiple images and announcements issued by the Foreign Ministry and state outlets during the week.

Muhammad Fneish, a US-sanctioned Hezbollah politician, held talks with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran on July 4 and with Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on July 5.

Hezbollah representatives confer with Iranian authorities

The statement covering the Araghchi session noted only general remarks on Hezbollah operations versus Israel, appreciation for Lebanon’s inclusion in a Memorandum of Understanding, and mutual condolences for slain leaders, while the later session emphasized Hezbollah’s ongoing Islamic and revolutionary responsibilities within the resistant front.

Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, Vice President of the Lebanese Shiite Supreme Islamic Council, likewise met Araghchi in Tehran, where the ministry reported that the minister highlighted Iran’s resolve to halt the Zionist regime’s aggression and occupation in Lebanon.

Hamas figures commend Iran’s position in the Resistance Front

Images released by the foreign ministry showed senior Hamas members at the gathering, among them Muhammad Ismail Darwish, the Qatar-based chairman of Hamas’s Shura Council.

Following the sessions with Araghchi and Ghalibaf, Darwish stated to CNN Arabic that Iran will not reconcile with America or recognize Israel, and he noted the speaker’s renewed backing for the resistance front.

According to the ministry, Darwish described Iran’s achievements in the conflict with the United States as a triumph for the entire Resistance Front and Muslims.

Houthi representative pledges continued alignment with Iran

Ghalibaf also received Mohammad al-Nuaimi, a Houthi leadership member, according to Mehr News Agency; the Yemeni delegate affirmed that the Houthis would stay in the same trench for the sake of the global Muslim community.

He added that recent events in Iran have become a guiding example for the whole Resistance Front.
