A 43-year-old Israeli man lost his life in a motorcycle crash in Krabi province of southern Thailand on Saturday, as confirmed by Israel's Foreign Ministry on Sunday.

Information about the exact events leading to the crash has not been made public yet. Reports and official communications from the ministry do not indicate any involvement of foul play.

Baruch Nidam, who leads ZAKA's International Division, informed Walla that the group started managing the situation immediately after receiving the alert through their hotline. They are working alongside Thai officials to handle matters respectfully for the deceased individual.

According to Nidam, the primary focus has been on obtaining permission to release the body and organizing its transportation back to Israel for the burial process.

The Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing regret over the passing of the Israeli citizen due to the motorcycle incident in Thailand and extending condolences to the grieving family.

The Israeli Consul based in Bangkok along with the Department for Israelis Abroad at the Foreign Ministry are providing support to the family during this challenging period. They are coordinating with appropriate officials in both Thailand and Israel to finalize all required steps and facilitate the prompt return of the deceased to Israel for burial.

Another Israeli Citizen Discovered Deceased in Bangkok

Back in August, a 35-year-old Israeli national was discovered dead in his hotel accommodation in Bangkok, Thailand.

ZAKA reports that the individual, who was married with one child, had been vacationing in the area when he was found lifeless in his room at the hotel.

The international team from ZAKA collaborated with local authorities to secure the release of the body and arrange its transport to Israel for burial.
