(RTTNews) - Watches of Switzerland Group Plc (WOSGF, WOSG.L), a leading luxury watch and jewellery retailer, posted Tuesday markedly higher earnings for fiscal 2026 thanks to revenue gains, even as the adjusted margin eased versus the prior year. The company also noted positive current trading and reaffirmed its fiscal 2027 guidance.

Full-year profit before tax climbed 76 percent to 133.3 million pounds from 75.9 million pounds previously. Earnings per share advanced to 42.6 pence from 22.7 pence.

Adjusted profit before tax reached 143.4 million pounds versus 136.1 million pounds a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share stood at 45.2 pence compared with 41.6 pence.

Adjusted EBIT rose 3 percent to 154.8 million pounds, yet the adjusted EBIT margin slipped to 8.5 percent from 9.1 percent.

Adjusted EBITDA advanced 5 percent to 202.2 million pounds, while the adjusted EBITDA margin declined to 11.1 percent from 11.6 percent.

Revenue expanded 11 percent to 1.83 billion pounds from 1.65 billion pounds, or 13 percent higher in constant currency.

On current trading, the retailer said the first ten weeks of fiscal 2027 have been encouraging, with continued strong momentum in the US and early signs of recovery in the UK.

The firm kept its full-year outlook unchanged, expressing confidence in another period of solid revenue growth together with a return to adjusted EBIT margin expansion.

For fiscal 2027, Watches of Switzerland still anticipates, on a 52-week organic pre-IFRS 16 basis, revenue growth of 5 percent to 10 percent at constant currency.

Adjusted EBIT margin is projected to expand 40 to 80 basis points from fiscal 2026 on both pre-IFRS 16 and IFRS 16 measures.

Chief Executive Brian Duffy commented, "We see a substantial runway for long-term growth, in both revenue and profit. With a leading position in the UK, a strengthening presence in the US, long-standing brand partnerships and a clear pipeline of opportunities, we are well placed for the next phase of profitable growth."
