Palantir Technologies stands as a divisive name among investors. Supporters point to its exclusive AI-driven decision framework known as Ontology, which faces little direct rivalry and supports rapid revenue increases. Critics counter that the lofty valuation cannot hold indefinitely, contributing to recent share weakness that may persist.

Each perspective carries weight. The AI specialist capitalized on rising AI interest, sending shares up more than 3,000 percent from early 2023 into late 2025. From the November peak, however, the stock has dropped about 35 percent.

Still, I expect continued strong expansion together with a more measured valuation to support meaningful price advances over the coming two years.

What fuels the operating results?

Palantir built its reputation supplying AI tools to U.S. intelligence, defense, and law-enforcement organizations. That foundation prompted expansion into commercial markets. The company created Ontology, a method that overlays its AI across fragmented corporate data and operational systems.

By organizing information into a knowledge graph, the platform delivers timely answers to routine business challenges, drawing on the enterprise own data. The Artificial Intelligence Platform supplies leaders with concrete recommendations, allowing decisions grounded in real-time facts. Customers recognize clear returns, which encourages repeat engagement.

Evidence appears in first-quarter results: revenue climbed 85 percent from a year earlier and 16 percent sequentially to 1.63 billion dollars, marking the fastest annual increase on record and the eleventh straight quarter of rising growth. Adjusted earnings per share advanced 154 percent to 0.33 dollars. U.S. commercial revenue surged 133 percent to 595 million dollars, while government revenue rose 84 percent to 687 million dollars.

These figures confirm that the recent share-price pullback occurred despite robust operating performance.

Projecting the numbers ahead

Applying the latest growth pace and analyst projections yields a rough estimate of where the stock price could stand by the end of next year, subject to several assumptions.

Company guidance points to 7.66 billion dollars in full-year 2026 revenue at the midpoint, implying 71 percent annual growth. Wall Street consensus for 2027 stands at 11.22 billion dollars, or roughly 46 percent further expansion. Profit margins currently hover near 53 percent; a conservative stance assumes no additional improvement. At that margin, 11.22 billion dollars of revenue would generate about 5.95 billion dollars in net income and 2.31 dollars per share based on 2.57 billion shares outstanding.

Holding the multiple steady at 152 times earnings would lift the share price 161 percent to 352 dollars, implying a market capitalization of 904 billion dollars.

Exploring scenarios

This exercise illustrates one possible outcome. Altering any assumption produces materially different results. Faster growth could sustain a rich multiple, while slower expansion might compress it and pressure the stock.

Even after the recent decline, Palantir trades at 152 times earnings. Yet the price-to-earnings-to-growth ratio stands at 0.53, below the threshold of 1 that many investors associate with undervaluation. Given the accelerating top line and consistent execution, the shares appear attractive, particularly following the 35 percent drop.

Is now the time to purchase Palantir shares?

Before committing capital, note the following: independent analysts recently named ten stocks they regard as the strongest current opportunities, and Palantir did not appear on that list. Those ten selections could deliver substantial gains over the next several years.

Historical examples include Netflix, added in December 2004, which turned a 1,000-dollar investment into 371,842 dollars, and Nvidia, added in April 2005, which turned the same sum into 1,244,783 dollars. The service overall average return reaches 900 percent, far outpacing the 207 percent gain of the S and P 500.
