Water.org, the international nonprofit dedicated to providing safe water and sanitation globally, is introducing Get Blue, a community formed with Gap Inc., Starbucks, Amazon, and Ecolab to advance Bring Water Home. Get Blue extends an open call to transform daily activities such as shopping, sharing, and donating into safe water supplies for families who need it most.

Over 2 billion people do not have reliable access to safe water, equating to one in four individuals around the world. Many households face distant sources, elevated expenses, or contaminated options, a situation that drains time, well-being, and opportunities. No person should endure delays, long walks, or excess payments for safe water. Get Blue unites efforts to alter this reality by expanding Water.org proven approaches to assist more communities.

Get Blue streamlines participation. Purchasing Get Blue items or contributing directly aids Water.org local financial partners in extending small, accessible loans so families can obtain pipes, pumps, or plumbing for home use. Five dollars supports one person while twenty-five dollars assists a household in securing enduring safe water or sanitation, creating ongoing benefits. Since loans are repaid at a 98 percent rate, the funds can then aid another family, establishing a cycle that empowers communities to address their needs independently and stretches each contribution further as reach grows.

Water.org has improved prospects for more than 90 million people, confirming that its methods operate effectively at large scale, notes Gary White, CEO and co-founder of Water.org. Achieving water access for all within our lifetimes requires accelerated expansion. This prompted the launch of Get Blue, a collaborative community uniting industry leaders, creators, and individuals for action. Brand involvement brings their audiences into the effort, fostering progress through individual contributions and steps.

Gap: The Get Blue Drop
Gap limited-edition Get Blue Collection refreshes classic Gap styles such as denim, tees, and sweats to aid in resolving the global water crisis. Gap draws on extensive experience cutting water consumption in its supply chain, having conserved more than 6 billion liters since 2016.

Available now, the line covers adults, kids, and toddlers and appears in select Gap stores plus online at gap.com. Each purchase from the Get Blue Collection prompts Gap to give five dollars to Water.org, empowering those in need with resources for safe home water.

Starbucks: Blue Drinks for Big Impact
On June 16, Starbucks will introduce two limited-edition beverages created solely to back Get Blue:

The Iced Blue Coconut Matcha: Tropical and smooth, this iced Matcha includes sweet mango notes and features vibrant Toasted Coconut Cold Foam mixed with blue spirulina.
The Blue Coconut Refresher: Toasted coconut, strawberry, and acai notes are shaken by hand with ice and blue spirulina. The drink combines lively taste with summer refreshment.

From June 16 through July 7, Starbucks will contribute twenty-five cents to Water.org for each Iced Blue Coconut Matcha or Blue Coconut Refresher sold, allowing customers to create change through a regular habit like ordering a Starbucks drink.

Starbucks maintains a sustained dedication to broadening safe water access in the areas it serves, including coffee, tea, and cocoa regions. Its work with Water.org and support for WaterEquity, the impact-investing asset manager formed to gather capital for water and sanitation solutions, has aided more than 700,000 people in obtaining safe water or sanitation.

Amazon: Shop, Stream, Support
Beginning this summer, Amazon will weave Get Blue throughout its operations to simplify customer action on the global water crisis, whether via voice commands, listening preferences, or standard shopping. Key features include:

Donate with Alexa+: Just say Alexa, donate to Get Blue and Amazon will provide five dollars on the users behalf at no expense to them. It offers a straightforward method to link someone with safe water access.
Stream It Forward with Amazon Music: Each time a customer plays a participating artists REDISCOVER playlist on Amazon Music, Amazon gives one dollar to Water.org, converting routine listening into safe water for communities in need.
The Get Blue Storefront: A special storefront on Amazon gathers exclusive Get Blue products, including selections from coalition partners, with a share of every sale supporting Water.org.

Amazon has partnered with Water.org for years, improving lives for 1.25 million people through safe water or sanitation access. Amazon also provided a key donation to Water.org to help WaterEquity start its Water and Climate Resilience Fund, an investment vehicle centered on climate-resilient infrastructure in emerging markets.

Ecolab: Connecting Water Savings with Community Impact
Ecolab delivers global water solutions and services for businesses in more than 40 industries, assisting them in using water efficiently, boosting operational results, and safeguarding local water resources.

As the official water management partner of Get Blue, Ecolab will pledge one million dollars via the Ecolab Foundation, with five hundred thousand dollars provided right away and five hundred thousand dollars upon helping its customers reach 255 billion gallons of water savings through its products this year.

Backing for Get Blue is expanding as the following companies join as the newest Get Blue partners committed to resolving the global water crisis.

AccuWeather: As the official weather partner for Get Blue, AccuWeather will run a complete campaign on its app and network on June 9 to build awareness and encourage donations for Get Blue, with continued online donation support throughout June.
Ripple: As Get Blues exclusive digital asset and payments partner, Ripple supplies essential seed funding that extends its work with Water.org. Through Ripple Payments and Ripple USD (RLUSD), Water.org can transfer funds more rapidly and affordably to microfinance partners, backing affordable loans for the water and sanitation solutions families require to survive and prosper.
TikTok: This summer, TikTok will back Get Blue in multiple ways to motivate its worldwide community to learn about the water crisis and act through creator stories and community involvement.

Recruiting the Music Community to Drive Action
To heighten awareness of the water crisis and spark collective action around Get Blue, Water.org co-founder Matt Damon applies creativity and dynamic storytelling to the mission. In a short video dropping today, Damon tries a new role as a rapper, The Nomad (Damon spelled backwards), intent on making music to inform and rally consumers for safe water access. In the video, Damon presents his self-written rap and invites friends Hit-Boy, a GRAMMY Award-winning artist and producer, along with Teddy Walton, a GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter, producer, and DJ, to work with him in spreading the Get Blue message widely. Producer Aaron Bow also joined Walton on the creative project.

To build awareness of the more than 2 billion people lacking safe water at home, Get Blue supporters are invited to film themselves changing one item to blue, such as wearing their favorite Get Blue product, painting their nails blue, or switching to a blue reusable water bottle, then nominate friends and followers to do the same and continue the chain using #GetBlue.
