Nationwide initiative to honor America's heroes during the historic 250th anniversary celebration

The program began with an announcement during Memorial Day Weekend, inviting submissions that will conclude by selecting one winner whose life and deeds best capture the lasting principles that strengthen the nation.

Qualified nominees encompass active-duty military members and veterans, with individuals allowed to nominate themselves or another worthy service member. Entrants need to provide a written account (500-1,200 words), essential military service details, and contact information. The narratives should emphasize the decisions that defined the nominee's path, their motivation for serving, obstacles surmounted, demonstrated leadership, resilience and character, influence on family, community or fellow service members, and the reasons they embody the essence of America.

Besides the 2026 Volition America Jeep Wrangler awarded on July 4th, weekly prizes will go to veterans who are nominated. The schedule includes:
