Southwest Gas Foundation and Southwest Gas employees teamed up with area nonprofits to deliver vital supplies and assistance to people, families, and young individuals facing homelessness

, /PRNewswire/ -- The Southwest Gas Foundation (Foundation), the charitable division of Southwest Gas Corporation (Southwest Gas or Company), concluded its Month of Giving program through employee volunteer activities in Arizona, Nevada, and California. The initiative also marked the Foundation's 60th Anniversary while underscoring its ongoing dedication to building nonprofit alliances that aid those facing hardship.

Throughout the activities, Southwest Gas employees along with their family members put together more than 6,000 care kits to assist people experiencing homelessness. The care kits are being shared by local nonprofit partners, including: Central Arizona Shelter Services, Northern Nevada Dream Center, Elko Friends in Service, Youth On Their Own, HELP of Southern Nevada, and Family Assistance Program.
